Day 1: Arrive Hanoi. Pickup airport & transfer to hotel in town.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour. Overnight train to Sapa (B).
Day 3: Arrive Laocai. Travel to Sapa. Trekking full day. Overnight in Sapa town (B,L).
Day 4: Visit an ethnic market. Overnight train back to Hanoi (B,L).
Day 5: Arrive Hanoi. Travel to Halong bay. Cruise. Overnight on the boat (B,L,D).
Day 6: Halong bay - Hanoi. Fly to Ho Chi Minh city (B).
Day 7: Full day excursion to the Mekong delta (B,L).
Day 8: Half day tour to Cu Chi tunnel + Half day Saigon city tour (B,L).
Day 9: Departure (B).
TOUR DETAIL
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi. Pickup airport & transfer to hotel in town.
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you will be greeted by The B Tourist Travel team and transferred to your hotel in town. Check-in hotel(*) and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour. Overnight train to Sapa (B).
Enjoy a full day city tour of Vietnam's capital. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam and the impressive Ethnology Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups.
Attend to the water puppet show, one of famous Vietnamese traditional art (optional).
At ?h?? You will be transferred to Hanoi Train Station where you will take the overnight train to Lao Cai. Victoria Train. Departure at ??? (to be advised). Overnight on the train.
Day 3: Arrive Laocai. Travel to Sapa. Trekking full day. Overnight in Sapa town (B,L).
Arrive Laocai Train Station early this morning at ?h (to be advised). You will be greeted by The B Tourist Travel local team and transferred to Sapa.
Breakfast will be provided in a local restaurant in town.
9:00: Sneak through the Sapa market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river. After lunch, you head toward Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route.
You will return Sapa from Tavan by car.
Day 4: Visit an ethnic market. Overnight train back to Hanoi (B,L).
After breakfast, you will travel by car to Coc Ly market located by the Chay River, which flows from China. Every Tuesday morning, minorities from surrounding villages such as Flower Hmong, Black Zao and Tay, gather to sell and buy their products. After visiting the market, you travel by boat downstream. Along the ride, you can enjoy magnificent sight of the beautiful caves and life on the riverbank.
You will have lunch at a nice spot or later in a village.
The trip will also offers you a visit to Trung Do village of Tay minority, where you can stop by a traditional Tay house for a cup of tea. You will go further downstream until you arrive to Bao Nhai Bridge where you will be picked up again and transferred to Laocai train station for overnight train back to Hanoi. Victoria Train. Day 5: Arrive Hanoi. Travel to Halong bay. Cruise. Overnight on the boat (B,L,D).
Arrive Hanoi Train Station early this morning at ??? (to be advised). You will be picked up again by our local team and transferred to a local restaurant for early breakfast.
Arrive in Halong Bay at midday, embark on your junk at 12:00 and begin your cruise around majestic Halong Bay. Seafood lunch will be served on board. Explore limestone caves dotted around the bay, soak up the sun on the top deck or go kayaking (optional).
Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on board junk.
Day 6: Halong bay - Hanoi. Fly to Ho Chi Minh city (B).
Brunch will be provided on board (Breakfast + Lunch). Then we continue our cruise in Halong bay while the boat is going back to shore. Arrive at Ha long wharf about 11h00 and get on our car again for our journey back to Hanoi.
Upon your arrival in Hanoi, transfer directly to Hanoi airport for onward flight to Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon). Flight??? Departure at ??? (HAN-SGN).
Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh city airport, you will be greeted by The B Tourist local team and
transferred to your hotel for checking in. Free dinner. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 7: Full day excursion to the Mekong delta (B,L).
Heading out of the town, we travel by road to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up. The thrilling excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving on an island. Here we have opportunities to visit some fascinating local industries, stroll around an orchard and taste many seasonal fruits. After feasting on a huge lunch, we return to Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Cu Chi to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Then we go back to Ho Chi Minh city.
Free lunch in town.
In the afternoon, enjoy a half day city tour with Ho Chi Minh City most wanted highlights such as the Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Reunification palace. Then continue towards Cholon for a quick visit of Thien Hau temple and the Binh Tay market.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 9: Departure (B).
Transfer to Ho Chi Minh city airport for onward flight home. Flight ??? Departure ??? (please advise). The end of The B Tourist Travel service.
